Oatmeal with coconut and quinoa

Oatmeal is made with oat flakes, but why not try quinoa flakes for a change? We added some extra quinoa seeds for a nice bite. We added a little bit of quinoa tricolore seeds, for some extra bite. A marvellous twist if you’re gluten intolerant or just in need of a little twist to your breakfast!

INGREDIENTS:

60 gram quinoa flakes
10 gram quinoa tricolore
100 ml vegetal coconut drink
1 handful dried coconut flakes
1/2 apple
1/2 banana
1 teaspoon peanut butter
this recipe is for 1 person

PREPARATION:

1) Cook the quinoa according to the instructions on the package. Heat up the coconut drink together with the quinoa flakes.
2) Thinly slice the apple and the banana.
3) Pour the quinoa oatmeal in a bowl and add the quinoa tricolore. Garnish your oatmeal with the fruit, some coconut flakes and a few drops of peanut butter. Enjoy your breakfast!
