chocolate cake with Quinoa
Did you know that our Quinoa flakes are a gluten-free alternative , for example, oatmeal? When you grind the flakes, it can also be used as a substitute for flour. Try this recipe out!
INGREDIENTS:
60 grams of pre cooked Quinoa
2 bananas
250 grams of stoned dates
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
35 grams of cocoa powder
35 grams of NatureCrops Flakes
35 grams of almond flour
A pinch of sea salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
Some butter to grease your baking pan
NECCESITIES:
Food processor or Hand blender
Bowl
Spatula
Cake mold

PREPARATION:
1) Cook the Quinoa. For this recipe we used our pre-cooked Quinoa, which is ready in 6 minutes.
2) Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
3) Boil the dates in water for a few minutes.
4) Mash the bananas and then add the cooked Quinoa to the mixture.
5) Using a food processor or hand blender, mix until smooth. Mix it for 1-2 minutes and then add the dates.
6) Once it’s smooth, add the eggs, sea salt, and vanilla powder.
7) Now mix in the cocoa powder, oatmeal, almond flour, and baking powder with a spatula.
8) Grease a cake mould and pour in the mixture.
9) Bake for about 30-50 minutes, depending on your oven.
You can check if the cake is done using a knife – if it comes out clean, it’s done. Once the cake is baked, let it cool completely, then enjoy! Got leftovers? You can freeze any extra slice to enjoy later.
