Berry smoothie bowl with quinoa puffs
Are you looking for a bit more variety in the morning for breakfast? Sometimes a bowl of yoghurt with muesli or oatmeal every day gets a bit boring. This colorful smoothie bowl will fix that! The quinoa puffs that we use here are a great health and gluten free alternative to your usual breakfast cereals.
INGREDIENTS:
100g of frozen strawberries
100g of frozen banana
120ml rice milk with coconut flavor
For the topping:
Frozen raspberries
Frozen blueberries
Quinoa puffs
Necessities:
Blender or food processor

PREPARATION:
1) Blend the frozen bananas and frozen strawberries. You can freeze them yourself or get them in the supermarket. Do you have some overripe fruit at home? You can cut them into pieces and freeze and use them in smoothie bowls.
2) Add 120ml of coconut or rice milk and blend.
3) Pour in to a bowl and top with a handful of frozen raspberries, blueberries and some quinoa puffs. You can also add the fresh fruit of your choice!
Tip:) This is a perfect snack for after your workout. Want to give it a go? Just halve the quantities and make it snack sized. Need more protein? Add the protein powder of your choice and make it a protein rich smoothie bowl. This will help you recover after a hard workout.
